It is interesting, in that it does not relate to how HCQ might be interfering with virus reproduction, but rather how it disrupts the damaging action of the virus.

We went through this hemoglobin interference when this first surfaced. The folks seeing sick patients disagreed with this, IIRC. Now it’s “Cytokine storm” which sounds more likely to me. If the “storm” is what is causing so much pathophysiology then suppressing the immune system, which Plaquenil is known to do, it’s how it “treats” lLupus and RA, makes more sense. The problem remains the same. Who gets it and when. There isn’t time to check people in extremis for G6PD Def.
There’s what now, 10,000 dead in this country and at least that many seriously ill. There are reputable people with lofty positions who are looking at this stuff. Why can’t we hear from them instead of “YouTube” doctors? Hell. I could make a YouTube. Perhaps I should. Then I could be a FR “expert”.
