DENVER (KDVR) -- Many Coloradans don't personally know someone who has gotten the coronavirus. The Archuletas are an exception.
Seven members of the family currently have COVID-19 and another two family members have passed away from the virus after being taken off of life support.
Manuel Archuleta lost his wife of 57 years last week. He also lost his 54-year-old son, Gary.
Now, Manuel and many of his other family members are battling the virus as well.
"My wife was one beautiful lady. She was the strongest woman in the world. She was the glue of our family," Manuel said. "I have never seen my wife so sick."
Manuel's son Gary was taken off of life support on Saturday.
Gary's widow, Constance, is also battling COVID-19.
"I'm so angry my husband is gone and I can't ever touch him again or kiss him again," she said.

The daughter was quite honorable by acknowledging that they didn’t take the threat as serious as possible by going out to eat. Her words will likely save others.
Very sad——Just like the family in NJ where several died. Sometimes I wonder if it’s a DNA thing as well that makes certain people at a much higher risk.

And two ‘killed’ seven ‘sickened’(wounded?)’. Someone should pass a law against assault viruses. Where’s shannon and Moms Demand Vaccines? Then again, journalists. Oh, and it is Trump’s fault. He did too little. He did too much. He waited too long. He started too soon. One of those should apply. Just as long as he makes a bundle on Hydroxywhatchamacallit.
Three hundred and thirty million people in our country and we are hearing onesy twosey anecdotal stories to scare us. This whole thing is a hoax.

Where was all this sympathy last year during the flu season? What about in 2009? The only reason this is news worthy is to keep the public terrorized, and the subtext that your government isn’t doing enough!

Meanwhile, those like Herr DeWine will take all the credit for doing the right thing and stripping people of their rights. The media and the drones will cheer. And a vague feeling of fear will remain with the public, for the political class to use whenever they see fit.
And in another story, some athletic younger dude was seriously sick, but recovered, and his wife, who he claims has been in very close quarters with him, shows no signs of having been infected...
I suggest they are ask for the HCQ regime.
