If it's through a mutual fund, then millions of other people have a stake in the company as well, including, I would guess, a number of congress maggots and urinalists. So once again, a half-assed misleading story is presented in such a way that it impugns the motives of Donald Trump by telling only a sliver of the story. Typical fake news.
I wonder how many mutual funds held by Trump have nose-dived with no cashing out from him? Waiting for headlines such as “Trump holds onto decimated stocks - has faith in the American Economy.”
BTW - this virus in my mind is separate from an economic failure. (Except the huge debt might become an issue.) But I hope that once this virus is handled to some degree, the formerly strong economy will come roaring back.
Indeed. There's a huge difference between facts and the truth. At the elementary school that was run by my church, the head of the school association happened to not be a member of our particular church. As a result, he was not permitted to vote on anything that required one.
At one meeting, a vote came up on something that passed by acclamation. I pointed out (light-heartedly) for the record that the president of the school association did not vote in favor of the motion. That was a fact. The fact that, even though he supported the motion entirely, he was not permitted to vote on the matter.
That was the truth.
