For the past two weeks I’ve had the best sleep I can recall for a long time.

Same here. Last night I had this dream that I had actually married the girl I dated in high-school and had just moved to Chicago to take a job. From there it turned into a warped John Candy movie.

You mean a dream like the one where I destroyed a stranger’s face with a rock climbing ice pick? Might have been the Zyrtec I was taking to conceal the Corona Allergy symptoms I have.
To: Black Agnes
Agree. I have always had vivid, lucid dreams, but if I get sleep deprived, they stop until I can catch up on my sleep and reset.

I always have weird dreams. Nothing scary, just weird.Me too. If anyone knows of a way to shut off dreaming completely, I'd like to hear about it.

Big link between sleep deprivation and obesity/diabetes as well.
I suspect part of the issue with our weight problems is chronic sleep deprivation.

Metoprolol gave me nightmares, labetalol very detailed and therapeutic dreams.

I am on metorpolol and have detailed dreams which are almost always pleasant or at the worst frustrating. My dad was on atenolol and had frequent nightmares.

Your travel dreams must mean you want to travel and get away from it all..

I’m with you. If I didn’t have dreams it would be fine with me.

I’d be fine with having no dreams at all.

Based on what typically happens in the dreams, I think it's just the opposite........LOL!

When you get a full nights sleep, you allow yourself to dream. If your alarm clock disrupts that for work, you miss the psychological benefits of REM sleep.
