I’m not at all impressed with many FReepers. Many seem snarkier than normal. I enjoy a little snark but I was just embarrassed yesterday. A FReeper posted that her 2 year old granddaughter, who lived far away wandered out of the house. She frantically posted and asked for prayers. Thankfully the child was found safe. She was hiding in the house.
Some snark master posted and asked why the grandma wasted time posting and wasn’t out searching.
I called on him to apologize but of course I didn’t see one.

I am a huge admirer of him. But he doesn’t have enough experience to be PM. He is currently Leader of the House of Commons, which is his first cabinet level position. He needs some other experience and a few more years on the front bench before he could be considered for the top job.

As for who deputises for the PM - it's the current holders of the 'great offices of state' in order of precedence. That means first Foreign Sec. (Raab), then Chancellor of Exchequer (Sunak), then Home Sec. (Patel).
(I think this must be the first time in history that all three offices are held by the children of immigrants: respectively Czech, Punjabi Indian via Uganda, Gujerati Indian via Uganda. Odd to think that Idi Amin's expulsion of the 'Ugandan Asians' all those years ago would have such far-reaching influence on British life.)
And as for hierarchy I understand that in your system it means a lot...just as it does in ours (Vice President,Speaker of the House,Secretary of State,etc).
I'd would be interested to hear you explain how Jacob's intellect is lacking however.
