Round every one of them up and send them back to India!

And, stop this evil program!

America is for Americans!

There is no place for bigotry in this country of Abraham Lincoln. I came from India on a student visa, earned my masters in mechanical engineering, was lucky to get a job in a slow US economy in 1962, and my student visa allowed work only for maximum 18 months and only if the work was certified by college dean that it was in field of study in college. Anyway the company sponsored me for green card. Eventually I was managing a fairly large department. But I never ever hired anyone based on bigotry. I gave all applicants the same exact written test and hired those who did the best, and looking back they were all born Americans, every one of them. I believe in meritocracy.

A friend works for one of the H1-B loving consulting firms. He’s complaint is the Indians are getting too expensive in India. Too many management layers that have to be paid for, which drives the cost up.

I hope Parscale sees these threads. How many million additional unemployment claims are inbound? At what point does keeping Modi happy take a back seat to getting the unemployed working?

Excellent. But things have changed. If it was only a few times I've seen entire departments purged of non Indians I wouldn't have said anything. I've seen it many times. I've had friends be direct victims of it.

Heck, some tech companies are doing wholesale purging of non Indians. My former company for example. CEO is Indian. Since he took over almost ALL of IT was purged and is now Indian. He is now in the process of purging non Indians in accounting and other departments. Full scale purge is occurring. My wife works for another company going through the same purge. It's real. It's a fact. and it is sheer bigotry and should be illegal.

Of course!!

It’s the law of supply & demand, right? Eliminate the competition & then you can drive the prices up.

Yep. Indians on here reading this and who are not the bad guys, need to understand that we don’t mean all Indians do these things. But enough are that people are noticing. Maybe it’s an old caste system thing? Maybe it’s a result of being treated like crap when they were H1-bs? IDK. But it is occurring and all these “woke” tech companies would never allow a white male to purge all non white men and replace them with his own group. It would be all over the news and anyone doing so would be fired. Yet, people like my old CEO get a pass.

A disabled person I know noticed right away when interviewing that disdain. One Indian shook his head

In my work, young Indian men stay away from Americans.

It’s like we’re a slave caste.

I agree 100%. What about filing complains with EOC etc?
Of course those govt agencies would ignore it unless minorities are being purged. When I worked in the company located in south side of Chicago, it was predominantly African-American neighborhood, and HR would be under strong pressure to hire AA’s. And HR would send the applicants to me for consideration. Our work was in mechanical engineering field. So I would begin the interview by asking the applicant “what is the definition of Sine & Cosine”. If they could not answer that simple basic item, the interview was over.

Not really. My friend has to bill per body. If the body costs too much, the company doesn’t profit. If you have one Grunt in Bangalore, with 2+ Managers, that’s 3 people that get folded into the Grunt’s rate.

Another issue is the Grunts are working while my friend is asleep. He talks to the Indian grunts before he goes to bed & has to talk to them before he starts his workday. There are days where this arrangement just doesn’t work.

We have one home where I’m trapped that has a LARGE “thank you for all you do” display in front to the home. I assume this display is for the folks on the front lines these days.

Funny how this display is front what appears to be the H1B group home in the neighborhood. The cynic in me suspects our Desi friends are expecting issues with their continued stay in the US.

There is no shortage. Hiring is broken.

For a specific IT job near my home, I’ve complied a list of employers based on contacts from the Booming Staffing Industry. There are over 100 employers looking for candidates to fill this specific job. Many of the employers have multiple openings for this job, so I believe there are around 130 openings in total.

The employers are inflexible, so the same list will be unfilled come Christmas, 2020.

Allowing H1B will not fix broken hiring.

Very true. I’ve been in IT for over 20 years. Done about every kind of IT work there is. I wrote software for the Space Shuttle as well. I applied for jobs I could do in my sleep and never even got a response. Same jobs I applied to stayed opened for a long long time. So much for there being a “shortage.” And this was before the virus layoffs started. Age discrimination. Pure age discrimination and some anti-white male sentiment among HR gatekeepers.

Then they have a few kids who are anchor babies. Birthright citizenship needs to be ended and all H-1B’s, H4EAD’s , etc sent home.

We need this to be an actual fight. Someone high up in the admin needs to put a memo out specifying that citizenship is only granted to those born of citizens. (Use any particular program that involves it to do so.) There's a pretty clear intent within the wording that says this, and there's contemporary writings (from the Amendment's author, no less!) explaining that citizenship is never intended to be granted by non-citizen parents. Let the lawsuits roll in, killing birthright citizenship for non-citizens is, factually, legally, an easy winner.
