California Had 2,400 Mobile Ventilators, Democrats Got Rid of Them
Front Page Magazine ^ | Sun Mar 29, 2020 | Daniel Greenfield

California has lots of money to shovel into its municipal unions and social services complex. But it just wouldn't pay for those ventilators and masks.

They were ready to roll whenever disaster struck California: three 200-bed mobile hospitals that could be deployed to the scene of a crisis on flatbed trucks and provide advanced medical care to the injured and sick within 72 hours.

Each hospital would be the size of a football field, with a surgery ward, intensive care unit and X-ray equipment. Medical response teams would also have access to a massive stockpile of emergency supplies: 50 million N95 respirators, 2,400 portable ventilators and kits to set up 21,000 additional patient beds wherever they were needed.

In 2006, citing the threat of avian flu, then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger announced the state would invest hundreds of millions of dollars in a powerful set of medical weapons to deploy in the case of large-scale emergencies and natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires and pandemics.

The state, flush with tax revenue, soon sank more than $200 million into the mobile hospital program and a related Health Surge Capacity Initiative to stockpile medicines and medical gear for use in outbreaks of infectious disease, according to former emergency management officials and state budget records.

And then the Democrats took over.

California, like New York, will be blaming President Trump for their own mis-management. Just thought I would post this to set the record straight.

Of course the Left will blame Trump...and the Right.

We have to return fire and make sure the blame is placed at the feet of the guilty.

This is war after all.

We have friends in both states and there are some good folks that still live in em, but their politicians are the absolute worst kind there is. They think they run the entire country, they think they’re smarter and better than everyone else and they adhere to communist philosophy. Well, guest what, commies: You don’t, you aren’t and we’re still a republic...what’s left it thanks to you azzholes.

California, so far, is in great shape - the entire state has only 11% of the amount of cases in New York and about 8% of the deaths.

New York is so bad they are driving the curve for the entire country.

DeBlasio’s trying to appease the Chinese community doomed that city. He’s killed literally thousands.

To mind comes....A fool and his money.....But well what else would you expect from a mentally challenged population. Always voting for the same crap and expecting different results each and every time. All actions have consequences and you got them.

From what I been told is that this virus doesn’t like higher temperatures and sunshine, what maybe in your favor and I certainly hope it will stay this way.

Sort of like when School Bus Ray Negin blamed President Bush for the deaths in New Orleans...because of the lack of evacuation, yet hundreds of city school buses sat idle in massive parking lots.

One highly, highly suspects that Cali is intentionally under-reporting the cases and related deaths.

They value appearance of succeeding more than actual success (possibly more than human life), and above all, they want to look good.

Just my guesses, but I would bet my allowance on it.

No, Democrats want to push the numbers higher.

Deblasio told people to go out and enjoy the Chinese New Year.

In New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell told people to enjoy Mardi Gras - and she now blames Trump for her decision.

Two of the biggest Coronavirus hot spots.

Unbelievable that a state prone to earthquakes would get rid of all of those medical supplies and apparatus.

Right...”I’m stupid, and it’s the President’s fault!” They did it and said it was because the Federal government didn’t tell them large public gatherings were a bad idea during a pandemic.

Just to give you an idea - New York City (with 8 million population) alone has 5 times more cases than the entire state of California (with 40 million population.)

DeBlasio killed his own people.
