Look at all the drugs that WERE FDA approved and were taken off the market. I think Diet stuff was a biggie.
My brother has taken zpack, my sister has taken it, my cousin took it twice, its a harmless drug, in fact docs love it since you dont have to give meds for 7 days, you get treated for 3 days

I distinctly member standing up in Grand Rounds for Neurology and Neurosurgey (in a room with 200 people) saying “This is War!” When people were deciding on just giving people peach pit poison for cancer. “Is there an outcome WORSE than DEATH?” It seemed to me correct at the time. I remember the old geezers were stunned. Turns out they were right. Peach pit poison didn’t work.
As you can see, I have changed my position over the decades.

I had azithromycin once, a while back, for bronchitis. Worked fine.
Of course, this combo is given for a more severe condition.
What bothers me, and probably you as well, is that Fauci and other authoritarian medical powers, want to apply a double-blind, double-armed study in an emergency when time is a factor. And, when we have an effectively, if not formally, controlled arm of the many thousands who weren’t given the HCQ/Z-pack (and possibly Zinc) combination.
