New York City’s government isn’t the only one worldwide doing this.

NYC hospitals are clearly not overwhelmed yet. They have access to hospital ships for patient overflow but the ships are not really being used. Because the hospitals in the city have room for all of their patients.

In New York City, if you are killed in a traffic accident, jay walking, shot, or natural causes, the Medical Examiner will list CORVID-19 as cause of death. And most other places also. It doesn’t matter what kills you, the official cause of death is CORVID_19

I do believe the panic already happened about 3 weeks ago now we are in kinda an almost getting to the frozen food panic, might have to go to the grocery store panic. And I’ll probably get laid off today so - I’ll have more free time to panic. I’ve been trying to panic productively, I think most Americans are. We were just getting going again and this Chinese crap blah.

Bring Out Your Dead

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

The false positive rate was 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

If a quarantine saves just one child's or one old fart’s life, it's worth it.
