Of course not, because they followed suit after the U.S.
International round trip air travel from China to US isn’t all that expensive, about $1,500 for a coach seat. An Air China 747 can really tight pack them in, the average Chinese being a relatively small person who’s accustomed to living in tight spaces.
Whoops. Wrong subject.
Here ya go:

So why are we on a country wide lock down???
If his has been spreanding all over the country for three months...
Why not just lock down the Hot spots..
As per the US Constitution.
What is herd immunity and can it stop the coronavirus?

“...even if the pandemic is drawn out over time, it may still take herd immunity to bring it to an end.”
Herd immunity is what the world has always practiced and will and has been necessary for humanity’s survival.
Did the explorers destroy the natives in America? Not exactly, they SAVED them from the coming invasion of germs and viruses.
Herd immunity, in the end, is how we survive. More so NOW than ever before.
“3.4 million travelers poured into US as coronavirus pandemic erupted”
“Travel data of passengers arriving in the United States from China during the critical period in December, January and February, when the disease took hold in that country, shows a stunning 759,493 people entered the U.S.”
Almost a MILLION people from CHINA!
How, in this modern world, of world travel, can we prevent this from happening?
Answer: WE CAN’T!
Mitigate, treat, and S L O W the progression. We can’t prevent it and we can’t stop it.
Trump is doing the EXACT right thing! Mitigate, treat, and slow the progression. Keep the hospitals from becoming overrun, speed up availability of supplies, approve new treatments and testing quickly (almost immediately).
Elder Americans should appreciate it the most! If not “slowed”, overwhelmed hospitals would have to resort to “triage”. Elder, high risk of dying anyway, patients would be left to do so by the tens of thousands.
ONLY by slowing the spread will hospitals have any chance to treat everyone and give EVERYONE a chance.
But when all is said and done, Herd Immunity will be the ultimate cure. Until the NEXT novel virus appears.
“Novel virus refers to a virus not seen before”. No immunity, no vaccine.

Yep, they carefully avoid stating the number of travelers from China, which, if you do the math, is over 700,000. Then they carefully avoid mentioning Trump’s ban on travel from China which I think he put in place in January. I guess they were hoping we wouldn’t notice...
My guess would be to try to gain control of the virus once & for all. So hot spots don't keep cropping up here and there and then possibly returning back to here and there. I think with the success being witnessed with the hydroxychloroquine regime, we may see things easing up way before the end of the month.
Time will tell I reckon.
Abc’s covarage has been fair.
Zinc screws that crumble when you try to tighten them with a screwdriver. .................... That’s another peeve. especially if you decide to reverse it and it doesn’t move, just grinds the slot so there is not contact.
“You did read the title, right? Enact the travel bans Trump suggested. But low level federal lackeys and people like you won’t tolerate it.
Go back to dimoRAT underground newbe”
Do they have smaller minds than yours on the farm?
Travel bans from our Allies in UK, Europe, Japan...?? yes, the 1930s called, you’ve got a train ticket home.
I’ve been here for a decade and I don’t remember it as thick as now.
