Curious as to how everyone feels about this. Last night Tucker was talking about China's strategy to arise from the crisis as THE world's leader. Judging from what we have seen so far, I don't think there can be much of an argument against that (with complete compliance from the U.S. media of course).

I'm not much of a conspiracy guy, but truth be told from the very early days of this virus I have not been able to shake the thought of the possibility of this (virus) being a scorched-earth move by China as a response to DJT's "trade war". It definitely checks all the boxes in regards to crashing the U.S. economy and, with the help of the U.S. media and WHO their reputation and leadership has been elevated to ridiculous, and quite frankly, disgusting levels. It seems a next step might be to begin the process of removing the US dollar as the standard for global trade and naturally weaken it in the process. Is this a trial balloon? Is this nothing to worry about?

PS The article mentions Russia twice. One of those should be Kazakhstan, making eight countries.

Very possible. They were losing the war and realized Trump was gonna be elected again.

Or i it was accidental, they played their hand well with the help of the media.

That’s why we CANNOT let the country forget that many important products must now be made here!

Screw China and any other 3rd rate country. Make it law that certain goods must be made here. Make the list long.

Then we can still win this fight.

China will never beat the free, work, entrepreneurial spirit of America. Even despite leftist retards in the country. They will be clambering for dollars and whatever else we have once this is over. China is an ant, albeit a big ant compared to USA.

I’m going to accept payment for my accounts receivable ONLY in Pakistani rupees. And I’ll convert all my cash assets from dollars to rupees. What could possibly go wrong.

A weaker dollar actually helps the US. Our good become more affordable to the rest of the world so it helps exports and lets us be more competitive on the world market. The US has been wanting out of the reserve currency business for awhile. This could be just what we need.

What the Chi-coms cannot purchase outright, they will reverse engineer, violate copyrights by reverse engineering and copy or steal.

American corporations, particularly the globalist multi-nationals are slitting their own throats...I should know, I work for one.

Allowing the Chinese to take over manufacturing, technical design, logistics and inviting them into our corporations, research facilities and institutions of higher learning are setting America up for a huge disaster and have been for decades.

It's insane!! The Chi-coms are not just being invited, they are infiltrating via other Asian countries....such as Taiwan.

Chinese communist are burrowing into societies such as Taiwan, creating citizens of those countries for the express purpose of espionage. Sending these “Taiwanese” over to work alongside Americans on our soil and gleaning technology on a daily basis.

It's happening as we speak and this is why China has gained such economic and military power so rapidly.

Buy..beg..borrow..steal..copy.

Globalist leaders in congress, corporate America will sell their mama for the almighty $$$. Dollars over loyalty to the country of their birth. Money over national security.

IMHO...they're traitors.

If Covid-19 really is a bio-weapon aimed at the United States, why would they release it among their own population first and not care about the consequences if it also reduced populations around the rest of the world?

Releasing it first among your own populations and into known streams of contagion spread (international air travel) is certainly cynical enough and far-reaching enough to be sure the United States gets it and with some deflecting cover besides.

But the world knows it came out of China and I don’t think any other country hates us enough to be happy in sharing our Covid-19 fate. Especially when the world knows we’ll likely to be the first to develop an effective treatment and/or cure while they languish until treatments finally reach them.

The article is from March 17th referring to a March 18th meeting. Did that meeting ever happen?

This will not work. They will manipulate their currencies for trade advantage. China? Class? Anyone? This is a surefire train wreck.

This will not affect the dollar. The Fed will adjust it’s dollar targets taking such a change into account.

China's economy was heading South. They realized that Trump's ultimate objective is to decouple from China. No way the huge, lucrative US market could be replaced.

The Chinese destroyed the village to save it. They have crashed the global economy and emerged to the other side first. They are back at work awaiting the global recovery, which they are best poised to exploit.

This has long been planned by Russia, China, Pakistan, and the other SCO members (India and three other ‘stans). It is little more than an optional barter system to reduce their need for dollars in transactions among themselves. It will not lead to much of anything.

> “Curious as to how everyone feels about this.”

They’ve been spewing that line for decades now and they never pull it off because they can’t trust each other in the follow through, that’s the bottomline. They do not have sound rule of law behind them which means no enforcement mechanisms.

Basically they are adopting a 3rd world currency exchange arrangement for a selected few goods and services that no one else wants and which they can’t deliver consistently and faithfully.

For example, Russia is not going to sell oil for Paki Rupees unless the Pakis have something of equal significance the Russians need to buy in return.

So it’s all a bunch of talk. It’s just wishful thinking of being independent of the global banking system.

Well, I hate the global banksters also but I am developing technology to hit them in the ass rather than burping about trading sheep for blond Latvian females in defiance of UBS Zurich.

What they are doing is like a neighborhood of homeowners throwing a garage sale and deciding that dog food, socks, and paper clips will be the currency trade.

It’s bullsh*t.

NiMerc I think you are right. However, with DJT relocating much of the supply chain back to the US, and possibly putting us back on the gold standard, and many other measures, China loses big and they know it. This bioweapon attack (yes that’s what this is) buys them time, and perhaps puts Trump’s re-election into question.
