Owners should stay home and not get CV. What happens to the pets when owners have to go into quarantine, the hospital or die just because they refused to stay home.

Practice social distancing, minimize bringing items that have been touched by others into living spaces of the house and segregate your pet for 2-3 hours after bringing home and the risk will be very low.
