I resemble your remark.
We are conservatives. We’re not saints.
The difference is we realize our flaws and work on them and take responsibility for our actions and feel remorse.
And we turn to God for help.
Sometimes not fast enough but eventually.
sometimes I wonder if we got more sane through the years or it just aged out of us :-)
