Earlier this week Florida’s Governor DeSantis ordered state law enforcement presence at all Florida airports to detain passengers on all incoming flights originating from New York and New Jersey to enforce a 14-day quarantine. Have not heard one word more about it since then. Our question was where was he planning to hold all of the detainees? Our other question was, what are the airlines thinking, allowing New Yorkers to break their lock down orders and board flights to Florida? Wouldn’t that trigger some sort of illegal interstate transport issue?
