That’s good to hear. DC is full of “conservatives” who will issue small-government, consitutional platitudes for TV soundbites when it doesn’t matter at all. A truly principled person will stay with their convictions in perilous times and when pressure on them is overwhelming.
Everyone here on FR needs to go back and read the Cloward/ Priven plan. We’ve just walked right into it. He may not be able to stop this 2.2 TRILLION, That’s trillion with a T, bill but at very least he brings attention to the deception Pelosy is pulling. Enshrining vote harvesting into law will be the end of fair elections. If that is in the bill, the GOP should have not agreed. It’s not the pork per se that galls me, but the legalizing of vote fraud. I don’t care if she asked for pork to fight AIDS in Africa or needles for junkies or lubricants for homos; but the vote harvesting provision should be a dealbreaker.
