Massie’s statement reads in full:

That's perfecting reasonable and should be supported by Conservatives.

Go on YouTube and check out his interrogation of Michael Cohen for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

I thought he acquitted himself well.

One line of questioning stood out to me. It went straight to Cohen's legal and ethical obligations as an attorney -- and it made Cohen look like a lying dope.

You’ve never heard of this guy before but completely trash him? You’ve got the instincts of a major TV news anchor. Check the guy’s record and conservative rating out, so you’ll know what you’re talking about.

It’s a dumb shit bill. I applaud him.

Amen! Again & aging these lazy, worthless so-called conservative puke republicans lead from behind - allow the commies to set the agenda & get their ways. Disgusting. Also I am not pleased with Trump to call this a "good deal". Leading would have been Trump & with the Senate aligned & gone to the public with wanting & insisting a clean bill that just contained money to the businesses & workers. Take the inititive & force it back on peloisi but no. playing the Bob - make a deal - Dole game that seemes to never go away.

I agree that roll call is not necessary.

I think that NO bill should be passed without a roll call vote. NONE.

If a bill is bad enough that a congresscritter is ashamed to have his/her/its name on the list of people known to have voted for it, it is too evil to inflict on the American people!

It’s the call to throw him out of the party that bothers me the most about Trump’s statement.

The Republicans used to at least claim to be the party of fiscal responsibility. Now there is no room in the part for people who still believe that.

Exactly.
We are much better than that. This is not the Soviet Communist Party.

We already are on the precipice of a depression and have been since 2008. All the spending is making it worse. Real leadership means telling the truth. This panic bill is a disaster. The whole coronavirus response is a disaster.

Massie has been described as a libertarian Republican[3] and is associated with the House Liberty Caucus of Tea Party Republicans. In 2020, in order to get into the spotlight, Mass(hole)ie blocked the Coronavirus Relief Bill.

THIS is what made it into Massie’s wikipedia entry today. This is what statists in both the Democrat and GOP will do to principled, small-government conservatives when money is on the line.

Coronavirus stimulus is a historic, golden, once-in-a-lifetime, for politicians, their DC cronies and ideologues to ROB AMERICA BLIND.

We love the guy here in the 4th district

That’s good to hear. DC is full of “conservatives” who will issue small-government, consitutional platitudes for TV soundbites when it doesn’t matter at all. A truly principled person will stay with their convictions in perilous times and when pressure on them is overwhelming.

Everyone here on FR needs to go back and read the Cloward/ Priven plan. We’ve just walked right into it. He may not be able to stop this 2.2 TRILLION, That’s trillion with a T, bill but at very least he brings attention to the deception Pelosy is pulling. I applaud him, he’s in the minority but he’s still swinging.

Grandstanding at this time is douchebaggery. I don’t see others doing it. Go soak your head creep.

Enshrining vote harvesting into law will be the end of fair elections. If that is in the bill, the GOP should have not agreed. It’s not the pork per se that galls me, but the legalizing of vote fraud. I don’t care if she asked for pork to fight AIDS in Africa or needles for junkies or lubricants for homos; but the vote harvesting provision should be a dealbreaker.

Perhaps spending $2 trillion deserves more than a voice vote. And why the hell did Pelosi allow Congress to go home before this was voted on?

Massie says there should be a recorded vote on “the biggest spending bill in history”.

He doesn’t think that the US Constitution is toilet paper.

But I guess the Inside the Beltway folks think it is since you can’t find it on the store shelf.....sarc.

Absolutely but I guess we are supposed to jackboot to what the RINO’s say and pretend its “conservative” when it plainly isn’t.

Nanking Nancy was the one who delayed the bill by putting in the poison pills.

Now she wants a voice vote. No, sir. All the critters need to be on record as to how they voted.

If the kid at Kroger can get to work so can the elected reps.
