No, this won't happen. The only reason that the Senate Democrats stopped fighting and voted for it was that they discovered that the American people would not tolerate Pelosi's scheme. She will have amnesia tomorrow and her office will announce that she has gone to the Greenbriar Hotel to self quarantine for 14 days.

No, the only reason the Dems stopped fighting it was because they got 50% of the pork they wanted. And Dems have no problem winning the war step-by-step.

Disappointing for sure. But $75M is chump change compared to the size of this monster.

Chump change on page 6, chump change on page 30, chump change on page 4, chump change on page 1,082... Etc etc. Soon it adds up to a huge portion of the beast.

And when President Trump signs this bill, it becomes, for better or worse, his bill.

And when President Trump signs this bill, it becomes, for better or worse, his bill.

And this is partly a result of removing civics from elementary schooling, and the lack of interest/involvement from citizens of all stripes.

Almost everyone will be happy to get their thousand bucks, no one's really gonna care that FedGov has no authority or power to do so. Most people will be happy with Trump from it, which is good, but it comes at what cost? We need to be moving back to the Constitution, not having supposed Conservatives celebrate as our side moves farther away from it also. At least we had one (ONE) rep who was at least willing to say it sucks. This $800MM bailout that turned into $2.2T. And will only grow as next month everyone needs another check. Pelosi needs to finish funding the half of her pork that didn't make this round. Even if we get lucky and don't add any more bills, the interest from that $2.2T alone will add up to billions (or even trillions) down the road...

96-0 was the vote I saw on Fox.

Did you really need to respond to post #7 with your post #202? If you'd read just a little bit more, you'd notice that he was already corrected in post #23, #24, and probably more?

“At least we had one (ONE) rep who was at least willing to say it sucks.”

And President Trump wants to throw him out of the Republican Party! WHAT?!

Trump is not in any way a conservative, he's a populist businessman and the only reason we like him is because most of his policies currently line up with ours. He's worth supporting, but don't expect him to fully support every actual conservative position. Case in point - he has no problem ignoring the Constitution if it helps people out. Even if this bill was completely cleaned of the pork, and it was ONLY dropping checks from helicopters, he'd still support it even though that's clearly outside of any FedGov power.

That explains it. The big government Democrats and Republicans welcome that I am sure so no one opposes their efforts to throw tax payer money around.

I think the fact 96 senators including all republicans voted for this tells you all you need to know about the senate. Big government open border chi com loving hacks and frauds all of them excepting Rand Paul who is sick.
