The problem isn’t so much that seniors run a high risk of contracting COVID-19. It’s that they’re more likely to end up taking up a ventilator or icu bed.

And the social distancing, needless shutting down the economy and ruining everyone's lives, some long term pain here, DOES NOT PREVENT THAT!

The social distancing is to prevent the hospitals from being overwhelmed. If that happens it won’t just be patients WITH coronavirus being killed BY coronavirus.

I think the approach the task force is taking is the right one. Some area may need to stay shut down, some may not.
