The 18,909 number of dead is really about 308,000,000, 7.7 million * 4%, that's 308 million with an M, worldwide. By next Monday that figure should be around 1,800,000,000, that's billion with a B. (I admit I am just wildly guessing here - sort of like the person making this claim)

So far this flu season the US has had: 38 to 54 MILLION people with the flu; 17 to 25 MILLION medical visits; 390 TO 710 THOUSAND hospital stays; and 23 to 59 THOUSAND deaths.

If that was true 38 million Americans wouldbe infected instead of 50,000 or whatever the number is today. Seasonal flu has infected 38 million and 22,000 dead.

I’ve heard conflicitng reports of it being more/less than the flu. Would be curious to compare numbers of cases for the last month.
