The truth is coming out.
The Chinese Communist Party’s lack of transparency is the big killer here. They ignored normal protocols for a potential infectious disease outbreak, denied there was a problem until it was too big to ignore, then overreacted, and now are trying deflect blame.
From the looks of it, they may not have overreacted by much.

I see. At first I couldn’t figure out what he is talking about. He’s attributing the “fall in death rate” to an actual fall in the death rate instead of an increase in testing. I expected Hume to be more intelligent or he knows better and isn’t above some propaganda himself.
But it is interesting that you really can claim “the death rate is falling” while the actual number of deaths is doubling every two days.

I think Trump 7 seconds later is referring to the sentence above and says “Should’ve let us...should’ve let us know!”

Do you not understand that the percentage of these who contract it and die is falling? At this rate, the number who die may be less or not much more than the 80,000 who died from the seasonal flu last year.
The death rate is falling. It was once over 4%. Now it is below 2%. I was correct, and I think you know this, despite the Straw Man argument.
Or Trumps comments were about it being “a live exercise,” or both.
One thing all Freepers agree on is we are not to trust liberals or progressives for that matter and to never trust MSNBC, CNN or the MSM for that matter. But progressives and Dems will disagree with me.
At the end of all this a lot of folks are going to have a much better understanding of these things than they do now.
While the number of deaths in the last 24 hours is doubling every two days. The rate may have nothing to do with what is actually happening. It is an artifact of testing asymptomatic people.
The actual number of asymptomatic people with the virus is much, much large than the number of People who have tested positive. The number of dead people who have tested positive is a much greater percentage of the number of dead people with the disease. Once you understand this you will realize it is you who are making stuffing the “straw man”.
