Everyone needs to see RHPS at least once in their life. The first time I saw it, I had the same reaction as everyone else: "WTF am I watching?!" It's since grown on me and now I've seen it half a dozen times, including a live floor show and a theatrical production, and I love the soundtrack. Check out tracks like "Hot Patootie (Bless My Soul)" and "Superheroes". Meatloaf is iconic in that movie.

The article makes a good point that a lot have noticed: what was considered shocking and obscene by 1970s standards is now considered "not woke enough" and "insensitive to transgender people"
