Democrats have been rooting for the economy to tank ever since it became clear they were not going to take down Trump by other means. Dems would love to have 10 percent unemployment and a stock market under 10,000 by election day. Democrat governors shutting down whole states will try to blame Trump’s response for the pandemic, but whether or not that charge sticks to Trump, the situation has given them cover to sabotage the economy. That’s the strategy. And if democrats win in November, they will take advantage of an economic crisis to go full socialist.
People are seeing what socialism looks like now with empty shelves and businesses shut down. Now will the half of the country that is clueless make the connection remains to be seen.
