This is a PROSPECTIVE study - it hasn’t taken place yet. Looks like they want first responders and clinicians to take the drug and then monitor the number who get infected. No mention of the control group - Im going to assume its those who do not volunteer to take the drug. In any case these studies are really hard to derive ANY useful data. I’m going to suspect this guy is preening for some attention.
I do not agree.
There is quite a lot of preliminary hopeful information, indicating this could be a readily available, already well-tested approach which is available NOW and cheaply.
There is a lot, in pharmacies, everywhere.

It’s prospective study in the U.S.; it has worked in other countries. It’ll be prospective, and unavailable to patients, in the U.S. until big pharma has drained billions from our economy. Nice.
