I believe millennials don’t have nearly the immune systems that we have as a generational thing. We were always out in the dirt piles out of doors, etc. building up immunities to the environment around us.
I don’t see that with this generation who always seems to be sick with something or other from living in “sterile” indoor environments.
Time for a shaggy dog apocryphal story.
There was a young woman, who got caught speeding considerably over the speed limit, by a Pennsylvania State Trooper, late at night.
As he approached the car ominously, pulling out his notepad, she composed herself and adopted her most innocent, demure, "butter wouldn't melt in my mouth" look.
He signaled to her to roll down the window.
"And just WHERE were you going so fast this late at night, Miss?"
"I was in a hurry to get to the State Policeman's Ball."
"Miss, I'll inform you that the Pennsylvania State Police don't have Balls."
