There’s something seriously wrong with today’s youth. I made my share of dumb mistakes when I was in my teens and 20s, but I never was so stuck on myself that I automatically tuned out the older generation. In fact, I would say I got along better with my elders then I did with my own generation — and I don’t regret that one bit.
Thank God I never had any kids of my own. I’m a lifelong bachelor of 62 years, not entirely by choice, just incredibly bad luck with women exacerbated no doubt by my rather reserved and scholarly personality.
But when you witness all the craziness of today’s feminists and the young “woke” SJWs — well, being alone doesn’t seem like such a bad thing after all.
As a character in James Herriot's All Creatures Great And Small observed:
