How many of the cruise ship passengers who were infected (20%?) have died or are seriously ill?

Seven have died and 14 are in serious condition out of 695 infected. It’s interesting to me that the cruise ship is counted as a separate category.

It should be a separate category, as the situation occurred in a more or less isolated area.

BTW, where is this information? I didn’t look hard, but I didn’t find anything either.

America is falling apart because of this. Our vulnerability is quite glaring.

Yeah! But better hope they don’t get the virus AFTER they get released or it will be the county’s fault and problem!

9mm cupric-plumbium injections applied on an outpatient basis can reduce the incidence of future infections. Indeed, this treatment has been shown to effectively stop active viral progressions in most cases.

And the course of treatment can be applied by lay-persons, freeing up the efforts of skilled medical staff for more critical patients. An additional benefit would be reduced efforts required by our over-worked Law Enforcement Officers.

Of course these benefits would require a flexible and generally more lenient interpretation of various statutes and policies by the District Attorney, especially as they might apply (or not) to ordinary citizens.

Suitable candidates for treatment would be individuals actively engaged in repetitions of the violent criminal activities that first landed them in jail. Therapy would be applied on an "as-needed" basis by directly-affected citizens in the immediate vicinity.

Releasing some non-violent inmates makes complete sense. With about 4 inmates per guard, the situation could become very dangerous if An unusually high number of guards got sick and couldn’t work. It would also be impossible to provide medical care if the virus spread throughout the jail (and more difficult to keep order). It’s a county jail, not death row.

This is a not funny, but hysterical, joke.

Again these kind of extreme events are being put forth to see what people will accept under ‘emergency’ circumstances.

Crickets is what the response is so far.

Did I say that this was all concerted effort and planned?

Would make more sense to suspend visitors than turning criminals loose on the streets....ironic that they want the public in lock-down but want the criminals loose...

Got it - even tho’ I’m a female, I get it...have a husband who could perform the job but is now housebound and grounded...but if able, he’d have to move back to L. A. to do it and that ain’t happening..

Sorry - thought we were talking about L. A. - not much difference anyway!
