I don’t understand the logic of imposing a curfew for health reasons.
Seems like martial law would be more efficient than a half-step curfew (No, Im not *advocating* martial law.)
With a curfew, wouldn’t people still be spreading it, only earlier in the evening?
Don’t most older, frail people keep earlier hours anyway?
Of course, if the primary objective is to tank the economy & facilitate rioting, shutting down nightlife makes perfect sense.

That's meaningless. "Within the Trump Administration" could literally include any of the hundreds of thousands of people employed within the Executive Branch. And if two of them are talking among each other about it, that's a "discussion within the Trump Administration".
More importantly, the federal government would lack any power to enforce a national curfew anyway. The only entities capable of enforcing that are state/local police, and they are under the sole control of governors -- the President has no authority at all to "nationalize" them.
