Biden says he'll adopt plans from Sanders, Warren

Former Vice President Joe Biden said Sunday that he was adopting plans from Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-Mass.) campaigns.

The moderate Democrat announced he would include two the progressive candidates’ plans involving education costs and bankruptcy.

“Across the country, middle and working class families are being squeezed by debt,” he said. “This is a massive problem, and one that we need all of the best ideas to solve. That's why today, I'm adopting two plans from @BernieSanders and @ewarren to achieve this.”

Biden announced over Twitter that he is adding Sanders’s idea to make public colleges and universities free for families whose income is below $125,000.

“It's a good idea, and after consideration, I am proud to add it to my platform,” he posted.

The moderate presidential candidate also endorsed Warren’s plan, saying “few people in the country understand how bankruptcy hurts working families more than Elizabeth Warren.” She called her proposal “Fixing Our Bankruptcy System to Give People a Second Chance.”

Considering Warren dropped out because no one bought what she was selling is it really a good idea to appropriate any of her plans?

Good way to defang Sanders by appropriating parts of his platform. Its easy to do and almost a necessity at this point for Biden. It will also reduce the resentment of Bernie bros.

It is not the plans that were bad, it was the vessel in which they were presented that was problematic. Biden is a better vessel than Warren.

Justine managed to call Sleepy Joe (I can think of another s-word to describe him) “moderate” twice.

36 years as Senator.
8 years as VP.
Where were these plans then?

The writer, Justine Coleman, loves describing Biden as a moderate democrat!

The moderate Democrat announced he would include two the progressive candidates’ plans involving education costs and bankruptcy.

“Across the country, middle and working class families are being squeezed by debt,” he said. “This is a massive problem, and one that we need all of the best ideas to solve. That’s why today, I’m adopting two plans from @BernieSanders and @ewarren to achieve this.”

Biden announced over Twitter that he is adding Sanders’s idea to make public colleges and universities free for families whose income is below $125,000.

“It’s a good idea, and after consideration, I am proud to add it to my platform,” he posted.

The moderate presidential candidate also endorsed Warren’s plan, saying “few people in the country understand how bankruptcy hurts working families more than Elizabeth Warren.” She called her proposal “Fixing Our Bankruptcy System to Give People a Second Chance.”

....and good way to highlight Joe will subscribe to socialist policies. Don’t care if a socialist is named Bernie or Joe or Elizabeth...don’t want him/her for U.S. President!

So, why not just nominate Comrade Sanders, or Lie-A-Watha then? More proof that Chomo Joe is utterly senile, decrepit, and useless, as if we needed any more proof.

a country can’t survive without a measure of personal responsibility among its citizens

nobody should be running up huge student debts while taking classes that will render them unemployable

if they are taking courses that will enable them to get real jobs, such as engineering/science/nursing/various technical or trades subjects where there’s lots of demand for good workers..... FINE, student loans, if needed to get through, make good sense

if they are taking Ancient Persian Transgender Poetry .. fine, too, but big student loans do NOT make sense for such majors

its not rocket science (and the taxpayers should NOT have to pick up the tab for Queer Social Studies majors who are “so surprised” they can’t get supercalifragilisticexpealidously high paying positions in the jobs market

It’s Pandering Joe’s “Communism’s Greatest Hits” campaign, where the plagiarism is unabashed. It’s what he’s always done best.

Good way to defang Sanders

No need to defang him; he's already thrown in the towel. Tonight's "debate" should be revealing.

Tonight’s “debate” will be bashing Trump all the way. Bernie and Biden will probably agree with many of the lies about Trump that are going around. No one will be there to challenge them.
