replace Barr. I’ve given up on him. He just seems really incompetent.

I came to that conclusion long ago. barr is part of the original deep state and a bushie. He talks a good game, but his actions are all about clean-up. The idea of renewing fisa after it has been used illegally against American citizens, Trump campaign, transition team and a sitting president is disgusting. Not a single person has been held accountable for that.

The renew FISA push by Barr may have been because he’s been using FISA going the other direction. Maybe. Maybe not.

But it doesn’t matter. He needs to find other ways to perform surveillance on foreign operatives with US connections without implicating the President.

POTUS cannot be seen facilitating surveillance on foreign actors that are joined at the hip with bad US actors especially if the US actors are connected to powerful Democrats.

The problem is both a foreign and US problem intertwined together.

Barr’s reaction was to keep the status quo but that means POTUS takes a hit for not doing something about the criminal wrongdoing inside government.

In other words, Barr is incapable of thinking outside the box, he’s not smart and he’s unwilling to grab criminal DOJ/FBI persons and throw the book at them. He’s incapable of planning a strategy that both prosecutes criminal wrongdoing inside DOJ/FBI AND at the same time keep surveillance on foreigh/domestic conspirators via FISA warrants.

In other words again, Barr is losing the battle, he’s losing the war. He’s not a winning general. We don’t know his strategy and we should not know his strategy but we see the outcomes and the outcomes show he’s a loser.

Barr may also have been responding to deep state attorneys that wanted to have FISA remain the way they’re used to having it.

Deep State Attorney:
“Attorney General Sir, we need to continue our surveillance of X with Y and Z under FISA warrant 19-ABC-123. Our investigation will come to a standstill if we don’t have permission to continue.”

Barr:
“I’ll see what can be done.”

Barr to Press:
“I support a clean FISA reauthorization bill.”

The above scenario would point to Barr as incompetent and having poor communication with POTUS which I suspect might be the case.

POTUS in the last two weeks remarked publicly words to the effect “we have witnessed a double standard, a two-tiered system of justice, an abuse of the FISA court to favor those in the deep state. DO YOU HEAR THAT BILL?”

POTUS actually asked “DO YOU HEAR THAT BILL?” in the remark.

Told me much of what I needed to confirm suspicions.

POTUS also now uses “Deep State” without reservation. Last year he was opposed to using it because he said it sounded too conspiratorial.
