How do you lose a record (302) that the FBI just makes up as it goes? Just write up a new one!

The agents responsible for losing the records need to be disciplined and summarily fired with prejudice, no future opportunity for either federal government work or for any federal contractor,

That's the thing about a bureaucracy...no one can be proven to be responsible for anything.

Don’t forget McCabe had an ongoing dispute with a woman at the FBI named Gritz and Flynn had gotten involved in that dispute on her behalf. She said McCabe had harassed her while she was working on the case of missing retired FBI man Levinsson who had disappeared after a meeting on Kish Island in the Persian Gulf. Note that in addition to Flynn, Levinson appears in the news again this month:

Robert Levinson: Judge tells Iran to pay $1.5bn to family of kidnapped CIA spy

A judge in the United States has ruled that Iran was responsible for kidnapping and torturing a former FBI officer who went missing 13 years ago.
The ruling, giving the family of Robert Levinson a notional $1.5 billion, is likely to be ignored by the Iranian authorities but it has served to put pressure on the US to pursue his case.
At first the authorities said Mr Levinson had been working as a private investigator when he went to Kish Island in 2007, from where he disappeared. However, they later admitted that he had been working on a mission for the CIA.
“This case, brought by Levinson’s family against the Islamic Republic of Iran for his hostage-taking and torture, is largely about whether it was...

Trump considering 'full pardon' for Michael Flynn after FBI 'lost' records EVIDENCE

There should be a dismissal of charges.

Bingo. Bureaucrats don’t lose records. Even if they did, there would be a record of the last person to have the records that got lost, so we would know who was responsible.

I'm not a lawyer but I think you're wrong there.Just think back to Osama Obama and that filthy little freak of nature Bradley Manning. Osama commuted his sentence but didn't pardon him.Brad's still a convicted felon...but he was released from Leavenworth before completely his full sentence.

Again, the original poster was not talking about commuting the sentence or pardoning Flynn. Both are well within the President's power to do. The poster was talking about delaying the beginning of any sentence - to leave it in place but not have it begin yet - and the President does not have the authority to do that.

Why isn't "losing" those records a felony? And if it is (as it should be), why isn't anyone being investigated and prosecuted?

Barr?

Barr?

Barr?

The dog ate their Gen. Flynn case file. Amazing, since it was probably quite a fat file.
This story of FBI malfeasance has been ignored in the coronavirus panic, as they intended. This is the right time for President Trump to pardon all those persecuted so unjustly.

Wouldn’t the charges get dismissed anyway if the FBI “””lost”””” the records?
