It may not herald a comeback, but hell take it.
Bernie Sanders scored a decisive victory in Saturdays Democratic Party caucuses in the Northern Mariana Islands, a remote US territory in the Pacific Ocean.
The Vermont senator snagged four delegates to front-runner Joe Bidens two.
But turnout was tiny only 134 of the archipelagos 53,000 residents came out to vote.

That’s trenchant.
Is this a joke?
This is a game changer /sarcasm
Between this and Bloomberg winning American Samoa, Biden should be quaking in his boots.
THIS IS IT! THE EVIL ORANGE MAN IS GOING DOWN NOW!
LOL
Feel the ...whatever.
Why is Sanders still running? Is he a masochist who enjoys his own public humiliation? Florida is going to massacre him in two days.
Joementia must be slipping. We extortioned some delegates. Go Bern...riding shotgun in that Clown Car. I though you fell out. Go Bern. Too bad your not driving Mrs. Peter. Careful...there’s a train coming.
I do think the Democrat party has it rigged against Bernie. There are a number of states that he leads in the incomplete voting, and because it is incomplete (look at California), there are many delegates not awarded. Finish the counts, even at current voting percentages, and Bernie will have national delegate lead. Instead, he is framed as 2nd place to senile Quid Pro Joe.
Too funny, only “134 of the archipelagos 53,000” voted! Those 134 people earned Bernie 4 delegates. Wow!
I lived on the island of Guam years ago. It is the largest of the island chain which makes up the Northern Marianas Islands.
Even as the largest island, it is small. Those islands are an area of very conservative, family-oriented peoples. Guam’s governor is a republican and republicans have dominated the island for many many years.
Those people are the polar opposite of the people of Puerto Rico.
Aww and Guam is very Catholic!
I would like to visit there someday before I leave this earth.
If only for the WW2 historical perspective.
So are Puerto Ricans. Their Catholicism is not the discriminating factor.
The discriminating factor is, they are very very remotely located from the DC bureaucracy. They are on the other side of the planet from DC. They do not rely on DC. DC is not even a remote thought in their lives.
As Rush Limbaugh once described, Americans, are rugged individualists at heart. We are all about family, community, and God. This may appear to be somewhat contradictory on first blush but, it’s not.
The Pilgrims are a testament to this fact. They initially instituted a communal/socialist society, and it failed miserably. Realizing that failure they changed that arrangement which they believed was the perfect way to establish their new world, to a capitalist system.
Where communal/socialism failed miserably, capitalism made its colonies thrive.
Soon many other Europeans followed and our country was born.
These people can not vote for president so why are they voting in the primary?
Uhh ... Bernie and Biden debate Sunday night. That may have something to do with the outcome Tuesday.
