That would make a lot more sense, but of course, common sense is the first thing that is “off the shelves” in a panic.

This is not the Black Death and the damage this panic is causing to our economy and people’s livelihoods is going to be serious and potentially disastrous.

Did that today at a mom and pop Chinese-Thai restaurant that we Usually hit 2-3 times a month. Spotless place was half-full, which was usual for the lunchtime crowd, no difference in attendance.

On the other hand, Wal-Mart and Smith's gad gaping holes in areas you wouldn't normally think would be hit - like canned goods (only sauerkraut remained) and frozen foods, where even pizzas were gone. Surprisingly, plenty of milk, cheese and some eggs still available.

Traffic on I-15 between Lass Vegas and the AZ border was light though - reminded me of the 1970s. This is in Eastern Nevada.
