Hows about a pat on the back to those of us who were already prepared and weren’t/aren’t out buying supplies?
How about prepping quietly and being modest about doing so?
?
I checked my leftover emergency supplies from the horrible Obama years. I was impressed with my younger self. Some of the food needs to be disposed of, though. LOL

I topped off some (yes...bottled water/TP/cold meds), but I left plenty for the ones that followed. (oh, and wine...lot’sa wine)
I topped off my meat supply at bolt hole #1 (of 2) on Monday. I think I can make it through November, if I really squeeze it hard. Comfortably through June for sure.
Pat, pat, pat. Atta boy! :)
It’s nice not to have a s****y shower, eh, Ken? ;D

I have some dehydrated food in storage, but I’m waiting for a real emergency before I use it.
Preppers have been ready for years but some folks are brand new (as in panic-stricken days new) to the readiness game. Of course theyre going to make mistakes, especially as their learning curves reach vertical.
Preppers have been thinking about the Disaster du Jour for years, so they already have plans for what is necessity and what is luxury. Miz Millenial and her significant other just learned hours ago that theyll be staying home for the next month.
Quick, we need toilet paper! How much? I dont know how much we use in a month, so buy a shitload! It doesnt go bad.
Next disaster, theyll be much more stable and informed.
