President Donald Trump said Friday he was declaring a national emergency -- "two very big words" -- to free up federal resources to combat coronavirus. Speaking in the White House Rose Garden, Trump said the action would "unleash the full power of the federal government." Trump is declaring both national emergency and invoking the Stafford Act, which gives access to additional funding, according to a source familiar with his decision. The national emergency gives access to authorities.

Seems to me finishing the wall is a direct response to combatting the spread of the virus, and funds can go to that first of all.

Watching the DOW add almost 1200 points in the first ten minutes of the Presser was extraordinary. Had they started earlier, the DOW would have added 2000+ points on the day.
Simply extraordinary the companies that were brought together - Google, all the pharmacy, medical and research companies. That doesn’t happen by accident.

We have finally turned the corner. The only way for the media and Democrats to make this a negative will be to minimize the coronavirus and say Trump is being dictatorial trying to curtail civil rights using a phony virus hoax.

I believe there is sort of a panic.
I went out this morning for groceries. I stopped by Walmart to get a bottle of hydrogen peroxide. The shelf where it and alcohol are stocked was bare.
I bought my groceries then checked their health and beauty isle and they had plenty. Still people are panic buying to an extent.
I’ve seen the movie but don’t remember the quote. Maybe it was tucked away in my brain subconsciously.
I have been trying to buy some more isopropyl alcohol for several days.
I even tried to buy it at an exorbitant price from Amazon.
One of the clerks who works at my local CVS told me that they are still receiving shipments, but it sells out very quickly.
I went back again today and asked when the best time to get it would be.
Apparently, the store I go to gets a shipment every Wednesday evening. He told me to come on Thursday morning as soon as the store opens.
I am only planning using the alcohol on the things I touch many times a day: my keys, my wallet, and my cell phone. On everything else I plan to use bleach or Lysol.
