Ok. Nothing to worry about.
My bad.
I am a flu bro now. No special handshake...just shake hands.
Waiting for a CNN report that there is not enough heavy equipment to dig the mass graves needed for the possible millions of deaths that could happen from the corona virus and of course it is Trump’s fault
How many people got PCR or antibody tests during the Spanish flu pandemic?
How many members of the general population got those tests during the Polio outbreak?
No broad testing during the Black Death.
Yet the death rates have been calculated for all of those diseases.
Throughout history, if you weren't sick enough to seek medical care, you didn't get counted as infected, if you were sick enough to need medical care, you became part of the denominator.
Since it isn't possible to go back in time to do a modern diagnostics panel, (and even if we could, who would risk bringing back smallpox?) for consistency's sake let's count anyone who was sick, and has run the full course of the disease as the denominator. When this pandemic is over, that will be everyone who was sick. Right now, we're stuck with recovered and dead.
And my piehole is just fine thank you.
I don't think I've ever referred to your "piehole".
Was that part of your reply intended for another poster?
You seem to be a pretty black and white thinker. That’s ok. Your ‘flu bro’ talk is silly. Not shaking hands at the moment. Have a good day bro.
See that horizontal line?
The one labeled "Healthcare System Capacity?
What do you suppose happens to people when there is no capacity to treat them?
Would you wish for an early peak, with the attendant deaths, a sacrifice of those people, just to have it over before November?
I have personally coded and pronounced dead a 35 year old husband and father of two young children dead from Legionella. After a trip to Disneyland. My perspective is a little different than yours.
Sure you did. And one death at your hands does nothing to advance the discussions of a so called pandemic. Get back to me when you personally see hundreds.
You guys dont want a discussion. You dont want to hear another perspective. Its best not to talk because the arguments on both sides are clear.
You dont think its a big deal. I think it will impact people. Your side only thinks in terms of shoving the death rate in our faceswhere that has never been my issue.
So yeah...not worth the discussion.
I stopped going to the movies quite a while ago.
My point is none of us want to see that repeated a hundred or thousands of times. Or worse. If we can keep the death rate down to 1% we will have to keep from being overwhelmed. If the hospitals get overwhelmed the death rate goes up. We simply cannot just let millions of people get ill with this.
Eventually every one of us will die.
I am with you, Gramps. And where are all of the bodies being thrown into ovens in Beijing, Shanghai, etc.? It has disappeared in China.
Yeah - sure we are...you don’t even know the formula I posted wise guy. What a doofus. You are probably the same sort of person that bought into that “Market looking pretty good to me!” bullcrap on the 24th - because you don’t understand what’s really happening. You’re a fool. You don’t understand epidemiology - the markets - social isolation - or - well - anything!
Death toll from the Swine Flu during the O’Biden Bama administration was 12,500, give or take.
How many have succumbed from the Corona virus? Can’t seem to find an answer.
Ha ha.
Jackass much?
Just wait - you'll see.
Well, it’s going up but I doubt it will reach lung cancer.
4,970 deaths from COVID-19 (40 in the US).
H1N1/Swine Flu got to 60 million cases...(12,500 fatalities...0.02%) the question is will COVID-19 get to 1 million cases? 45 million? 60 million? (at a 1-4% fatality rate).
Sorry but you are the one who is wrong
130,000 cases
4700 deaths, 3100 of those were Chinese, Italy is 2nd with 800 Iran 3rd with 400. US is 8th with 38.
3200 died on the roads today and will tomorrow and the next day. Over 1 million a year.
You tell me where the problem is?
