Either one of them beats Jones. No longer worried about blowing this race with a terrible nominee. Fresh blood is probably best, though, but Sessions was in there to prevent another Roy Moore debacle.
Sessions should gracefully bow out at this point...don’t know if he can though with a runoff...if he just withdraws, does the runoff get cancelled?
If he withdraws before the ballots are printed or in some other timely fashion, there would be no runoff. Let’s hope Tuberville can win in the fall.
