Thank you for something there is a scarcity of in these discussions everywhere, not just here on FR. That is a discussion of actual symptoms and how individuals handle the illness. Can’t have much of that talk or the panic might be abated.
It’s maddening
The poster is being praised for his thorough presentation and spreadsheets trying to bolster the argument that this is a serious threat....and yet looking at the numbers in a realistic context, he’s arguing against his own assertion.
If he really cared about the health and welfare of the general public, then show me the spreadsheets and research on a much greater and present health danger....the flu. Where is that info?
I submit most of the snowflake, fear mongering Freepers fit into one of these categories:
-they live at home in mom and dad’s basement watching youtube videos all day
-they work for the govt.
-they work for some huge corporation that is ready to give them paid time off and let them work at home.
-rich, retired, and already ‘got theirs’
I can assure you they do not own a small business, as I do, being bombarded everyday by the virus of panic, overblown stories and stats that have absolutely no context to reality. These are the folks that are more dangerous than the virus itself.
