But a higher temp would likely only catch a fraction of those on the plane who are infected. And of course just one asymptomatic shedder on the plane could infect many others during the flight.

All flights should have been shut down from these places weeks ago. Any returning Americans should have come in on special flights, with a 2-week stop at a quarantine center.

(To that point, perhaps you saw that the CDC today came out and said “As the trajectory of the outbreak continues, many people in the U.S. will at some point in time this year or next be exposed to this virus, and there’s a good chance many will become sick” and that those over 60 OR with any pre-existing condition should “stock up” and “avoid crowds”)..that’s a pretty big change from the initial “the risk is low..go about your lives” we’ve been hearing for the past 2 weeks or so.

PSST - bummer that you figured out our “super secret, evil master plan!” We’re (including everyone at the CDC) really ALL just secretly working for Soros and doing our damnedest to scare people silly so that Biden or Bernie can get elected :). I fully intend to believe in “whatever I want to believe” absent any consensus and in the face of actual numbers from PAST viruses like this years flu which has already killed between 15 & 20,000 Americans vs how many for this corona virus? What is it, 27....?

You have a rumor, that is all. I’ve entered this country a hundred times port of entries and have never just walked in without some kind of questioning.

Yes, I am buying the multiple reports.

But screening alone isn’t effective. Most likely those walking on the plane with the virus are not yet presenting symptoms that a screening would catch.
