Seriously, what's with people?
This goes along with calls to be bipartisan. Biden, for his entire career, was one of the most liberal/progressive member of the US Senate. I have little in common with him, in thought, word or deed. I don't want to be like him. I will oppose everything he and his mindless followers want.
I want to be divided from socialism. There is very little that unites us other than some basic biological functions and human emotions, which we can control and they cannot.
Liberal and progressive actually mean the opposite.

Our military is socialist.
Our police departments are socialist.
Most K-12 schooling is socialist.
Fire departments are commonly socialist.
The CDC is socialist.
