Most people know that the flu can kill. Indeed, the so-called Spanish flu killed 50 million people in 1918more than were killed in the first world war. But what about TCC? Can you really catch your death?
TCC is a collection of symptomscoughing, sneezing, a runny nose, tiredness and perhaps a feverrather than a defined disease. Although it shares a lot with the initial symptoms with the flu, it's a very different infection.
Rhinovirus causes about half of all TCC, but other viruses can cause one or more of the symptoms of a TCC, including adenovirus, influenza virus, respiratory syncytial virus and parainfluenza virus.
Complications from a cold can cause serious illnesses and, yes, even death...

How many deaths have been caused by TCC? How many people have been infected by TCC? Does anyone know the death rate?
What is Trump doing to stop deaths caused by TCC. It hits children the hardest!
Laugh.
I hope you still think this is funny by May.
You found humor in my post? You think cold deaths are funny?
Why lie and fake a title?
When I saw your “handle” it struck me as absolutely hilarious. :)
Yup,
We are All Gonna Die!
Thanks Buddy.
Why did you make up a fake title?
What else are you lying about?
TCC is caused mostly (but not exclusively) by coronaviruses.
You don’t get to post articles here and write your own headlines.
What’s the fatality rate for TCC? How many develop pneumonia?
Coronavirus. These tend to do their dirty work in the winter and early spring. The coronavirus is the cause of about 20% of colds. There are more than 30 kinds, but only three or four affect people.
Just as an FYI.
Bkmk
TCC?
The Corona Virus = TCV.
The Corona Catastrophe?
The Corona Contest? (no, sounds like a drinking game)
The Corona Coffin?
I give up!

TCC = Title Change Curse
My mom died at age 93 of a common cold. Mom was in great health but got a severe cold in May and it lasted 7 days no pneumonia but very bad lungs and sinus infection.
So I know colds are dangerous.
1918 was a century ago and right at end of the Great War
There was no microscopy or knowledge of what viruses are
No comparison
Take vitamin D3 daily through the winter and get sunshine every day through the summer and all these warnings become background noise and meaningless.
Its very interesting to see a version of the climate crisis/climate deniers split playing out on FR, with one group saying corona is nothing and the other saying they are in denial and we are in deep ****.
Nobody dies of the common cold.
Lots of people are going to die fo corona virus.
It ain’t the flu.
What is your point? The common cold is common and is deadly in a very small fraction of cases. The CoV is very serious and appears to be on par with Spanish flu if it continues to spread at current rate.
Everyone should be wearing masks even if not ill because of long asymptotic infectious period, avoid all unnecessary travel especially planes which recirculate air, avoid concert, sporting event, restaurants etc. Work from home, close schools if outbreaks in region.
If hospitals are overwhelmed, in addition to deaths, there will be many with disabling permanent lung injuries.
