The last two weeks of his campaign the ads were somewhat better, but from his first TV ad until then, I was saying that his marketing people were ripping him off; that until the end when the ads said “Paid for by Mike Bloomberg”, the ads looked and sounded like they were made by his opponents. Totally tone deaf, completely out of touch with most democrats, much less sane-ish centrists and NeverTrump republicans.
Most of Bloomberg’s ads could be described in one word: ‘dull’. And if I were allowed two words, I’d say ‘very dull’. It was as if he were running for assistant secretary of the local chamber of commerce.
