RE: Sounds like a stupid law.
How many such laws do we have on the books that are applied only to common folks but never to the powers that be?
Quid pro Joe offering something for something again?
You don’t say
Jomentia the International Extortionist, had to put the money somewhere. Right HIllaryous Rotten Clinton Global Initiative.
Our goodwill, honest intentions, good faith spit on by CRIMINALS under the auspices of “foreign aide”.
No justice, NO REPUBLIC
Lets remember: Rod Blagojevich essentially argued the same thing about his attempt to sell Barack Obamas vacated Senate seatthough obviously some prosecutors and juries disagree. He said that such things happen all the time.
__________________________________________________________
The above is true and Blagojevich is correct when he says it happens all the time. The difference in this case was that although Rod was a Democrat, the person whose seat was becoming vacant was Obama and he wanted to decide who went into the seat and Rod didn’t do as he was told. Obama won the election and then ruled the Justice Department who he used as his private “get even” department.
Blagojevich was put in prison for a stupid long sentence so that Obama could make a point, “do what I say or pay”. What President Trump did to release him was the right thing to do and a very unselfish thing to do. Why should Trump care if a Democrat rots in prison? He cares because he is one of the good guys and cares about everybody.
Peter leaving a message at the wrong number was pretty funny though. If he’d mentioned “that job Joe offered me” it would have been a perfect message.
Our domestic enemies presume to tell us that a Rat running for office can NOT be charged with any crime.
Ever, apparently.
Why is anyone surprised? Politicians are immune from the rule of law.
No need.
Quid pro Joe strikes again - with no repercussions.
I would recommend that the FEC start a review to see if there is any “smoke” here. But wait till the top of June to persue in ernest. Anounce an investigation, go before a grand jury, supena email and phone records, etc.
Then go for the indictment just before the convention. Throw the whole brokered convention thing into an all out war within the DNC.
After the convention, fine the campaign for the violation
Joe can say in his defense “I didn’t really offer him anything. That was just me lying out my ass like I always do”.
But he still withheld the billion dollars. 8>)
Well, I’ll be damned if he didn’t accept my offer.
---Joe can credibly claim diminished capacity.
---This shows how late in the day it really is...politicians used to respect us enough to at least be discreet. When they lied, it wasn't so blatant.
Now, they don't even bother with that.
You need to change the title on Harris’s picture to “Quim Pro Ho.” It would be more accurate.
A hoe is a useful gardening implement. A ho, not so much.
Joe Biden doing what he does best . Quid pro quo. Will Buttigieg be ambassador to Ukraine or is that slot reserved for Hunter when he gets out of drug rehab?
#Sonofabitch
Awesome meme.
Lock them up...
