Have you ever been Turkey or known any Turks? It is easier for me to buy liquor in a grocery store in Istanbul than it is for me to do so in NJ, where I can’t! Alcohol is very heavily taxed though.
Turkey isn’t Saudi Arabia (an evil place) or Yemen. And when it comes to savagery and butchery in the so called Christian world, nobody comes remotely close to the Russians over the last 300 or so years.
Letting Turkey into NATO was an incredibly big mistake. I remember sensible people warning everyone about that then.
