They’ve either received some kind of payment, or they’re angling for the VP slot. Because gaff-prone senile Joe will never make it through his first term before someone invokes the 25th Amendment for real. Every Democrat knows that Slow Joe is just being used to get back into the White House, and if he does, his VP is assured of becoming POTUS before his first term is over.
