I’m confused, they voted in their primary or early voting for the general election?

The California primary only awards delegates to candidates who receive more than 15% of the vote so the Buttigegg and Klobachar votes were wasted anyway. As long as Biden gets more than 15% he will get some delegates but Bernie will get the lion’s share.

Nothing matter until the convention. If the coalition against Bernie including the superdelgates can put together 1991 delegates Biden will be nominated regardless of who people voted for.

Primaries are not for actual voters they are for the party elite to decide who they think can win. If Biden is nominated his biggest concern will be getting indicted for money laundering and bribery in Ukraine before the general election.
