Turkey’s refugee camps are just holding depots for those who want to go to Europe. This way he can use them as cannon fodder with Nato when they won’t act to help him in his agenda for Syria. Plus he gets paid by Europe for keeping them there. it’s a total win for Erdogan.....when they stop paying because they know his scam then he threatens to flood Europe.
He also creates conflicts of war to replenish those who leave the camps.
European leaders who actually cared about Europe would have responded “We are expelling every single person who is not a legitimate citizen. Including every single Turk. Any who attempt to resist expulsion will be shot.”

It’s pretty easy to “open the door” when you know you are just the foyer of Europe and nobody is planning on moving in permanently.
The only question left is which European county will be the first to open fire en-masse at the hord coming at them?
This would include sinking a few boats if they refused to reverse course.
After all, that’s gonna be the only way to stop it - since you can’t build a bigger wall fast enough.

EU: Take a lesson from President Trump, and his solution to the illegal immigrant problem from Mexico.
Crush the Turkish economy with tariffs and sanctions, if they don’t do their job.
Especially target the personal interests of the Erdogan Crime Family, and the political elite of Turkey.
EU holds the cards, if they have the fortitude to play them.
I saw pictures of those migrants flooding Greece and Bulgaria. There were no old ladies and children. They looked like healthy young men. They looked like a military army without uniforms and their weapons.
Erdoo deserves to be targeted. His family and friends are totally corrupt. He has been an elected “dictator” for 3 years now. There is no longer a rule of law in Turkey. Only the edicts of dictator. This will end badly.
