Being a retired reporter, I read the whole story and found some facts missing — particularly the date of the accident, which was referred to only as “last week.”
Otherwise, one of the details I did find revealing was that the illegal alien had been hiding in a Unitarian church.
You have to figure that it would be some whacked-out, leftist congregation like the Unitarians that would hide a Third World lowlife.
As a boy, I took to heart and passed on to my younger sister my father’s offhand description of a new building in the neighborhood as being where the dreaded Communists met. This put my mother into peals of laughter as the building was a Unitarian Church. To this day, I defend my father’s description of the joint as fundamentally accurate.
