It’s a virus hot spot because of the ever-increasing homeless camps (empowered by Dei Leftists) responsible for urinating and defecating on public sidewalks, and by their filthy way of living attracting thousands of rodents, roaches, and other vermin.
I'd say it's a hot-spot in waiting. Just like the "natural" forests that don't allow logging, pruning, and underbrush clearing aren't aflame right now, but probably will be sometime soon.
