These people cannot be reasoned with and must be destroyed at the ballot box.
When the ballot box doesnt work, the ammo box does.
Only 35%? What lame nazis.
Seattle/Tacoma did it; 2 cents per .22 and 5 cents for anything larger/center fire. Gun shops moved out of town.
How is this any different from a poll tax? Both are taxes on exercising a basic right.
Re: Gun shops moved out of town.
So they got what they wanted.
The draconian anti 2A laws imposed after Newtown was the last straw that drove me out of Ct. Taxes and regulation make the state an expensive sh*t hole. Ct specializes in targeting taxes and regulations against potential Republican voters. This is a very short sighted policy. When Republicans and companies flee the state, we take billions in tax revenue with us.
Actually just outside city limits.
Forget the soapbox, jury box and ballot box; get the ammo box.
Seeing as this new tax infringes on the 2A, why not put a tax on voting as well? Call it a poll tax.
Oh, wait. The Supreme Court has already ruled that to be unconstitutional.
I propose a 50% excise tax on sex toys and rolling paper.
“Actually just outside city limits.”
Everyone laughed at the liberal maniac city council.
The brilliance of targeted taxes is that you single out a minority and hit them. The majority doesn’t care because it doesn’t affect them. However, everybody belongs in some sort of minority classification be it a behavior or purchasing pattern.
So if you wanted to put a tax of XX dollars on everybody in the state they might very well vote you down. But if you hit every group that’s a minority in some fashion with that XX dollars targeted tax, eventually everyone is paying the amount of tax that they would have rejected had it been applied to everyone at the same time.
On a side note: The Seattle CC put a “Fat Tax” on soft drinks in the city. Folks went outside the city to buy them - CC lost big tax money on that; wanted to stop obesity in kids.
The intention of the gun grabbers is to make life miserable for gun owners. Its got nothing to do with public safety. And if they can raise revenue in the process, all the better! Curbing violence is a hoax they need to be called out on at every opportunity.
NH is not too far away and I predict this will spur more people into making the trip and buying in large quantities.
How about this freak, Murphy and Stolen Valor Blumenthal
3 despicable pos sub humans
A group I was with sued Ca Fish&Game because they blew off our delisting petition. We sued again on process and won. The judge ruled that CDFG had to consider our petition. They said OK, considered it for about four minutes and denied it again.
The end.
