Michael Flynn seeks total exoneration, not pardon, says his attorney

Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn’s lawyer, Sidney Powell, told Just the News this week that she is seeking total exoneration of her client from the Department of Justice in a case that has dragged on for years.

“We don't want a pardon," she told the site's CEO John Solomon for his podcast John Solomon Reports. "We want an exoneration."

While emphasizing that her client wouldn’t dismiss the idea of accepting a pardon, Powell made clear that she and Flynn have set their sights higher.

“We want this case dismissed in the interest of justice,” she said

Exactly. President Trump has taught them to fight instead of rolling over.

If Flynn gets a pardon the DNCmedia will say it is to cover up all the crimes Trumps people committed.

If he fights it will expose the FBI and DOJ for the crooks they truly are. Of course that doesn’t include the 99% who are great patriots according to Hannity.

I wish him well, but Flynn would have been much better off if he had been fighting from the start. He really undermined his own case by entering a guilty plea.

What a bunch of cr@p. Where are the whistleblowers? Ruby Ridge, Waco, Whitey Bulger, etc, etc, you'd think one of the "99%" would have stood up by now.

When Don Johnson, the FBI agent who tried to frame Richard Jewell, returned to work after being suspended for his role in the scam, FBI agents lined the halls and gave Johnson a standing ovation.

Not only that, he should sue the individuals who put him through this legal nightmare for damages — be made whole again! And, compensation for lost wages!

Yup. I expect there a few honest Americans in the FBI and DOJ
but they probably never get promoted.

If there were honest agents then Comey, McCabe etc. could not have pulled off their attempted coup so easily.

I don’t trust any of them.

“He really undermined his own case by entering a guilty plea.”

Easy to say for others when Gen. Flynn was being drained through Covington, the Eric Holder law firm conflicted in his defense as they represented him in his FARA application.

The Mueller scam investigation was threatening to indict his son.

That’s what he went through.

Hannity may mean well, but by reiterating that ad nauseaum he could very well be providing cover for lower level operatives who are in fact complicit in the crimes of those already implicated.

Papadapoulous made a strange comment the other day about not geinallowd to choose his own counsel. Perhaps there was a reason Flynn ended up with who he did.

Your post would have made sense if Flynn had just taken his guilty plea and went home.

But he didn't do that. Now he's fighting the case in a way that would have been much more effective if it had been done three years ago. And how could he have been "drained" when he's spending even more money in his defense than if he had simply gone to trial back in 2017-18? He signed a guilty plea in November/December 2017 -- and he still hasn't been sentenced -- MORE THAN TWO YEARS LATER.

Hannity seems like an OK guy, but I’d be surprised if he has an IQ over 90.

So Flynn hires an Eric Holder law firm, and somehow he's a VICTIM in all this? LOL.

Flynn was the target of a police state campaign of terror. The history of that period has yet to be written. Given that, I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Maybe so. He was also a jackass in some ways.

1. He was a paid propagandist for the Islamic regime in Turkey while he was serving as an advisor to Trump's campaign.

2. He was having phone conversations with the Russian ambassador on his cell phone while vacationing in a Third World dump in late December 2016. The content of these calls ended up all over the national news media and eventually precipitated his interview with the FBI.

I try not to be too harsh on the guy, but something about him always suggested that he isn't terribly bright.
