I’ve been saying for decades that it is NOT good enough to have millions of medicated HIV patients roaming the Earth, that viruses swap technology by way of the way they hijack true cells’ means of reproduction. And the example I always used was “what happens when the common cold (yes, a coronavirus) learns some tricks from HIV.”

While partially correct, the coronavirus is the cause of about 20% of colds, not all colds are corona viruses. Just to set the record straight. 8>)

This suspicion crossed my mind yesterday when I read that Deborah Birx ‘Global Aids Coordinator’ was named as the corona response coordinator.
May mean something - or nothing. “Could be”... isn’t a scientific assessment.
